In week one we will cover the following topics:
- Laying the table
- What things do you need to know before you start to lay the table?
- How many people are there going to be, what you are going to eat and where people are going to sit
- What will you need?
- Table cloth, plate for starter, main and dessert, knives, forks and spoons for each course
- Napkins, salt and pepper, flowers, butter, candles, water jug, water glasses and wine glasses
- Which knives and forks do you use when eating each course?
- How can you display the napkin and where can you place it?
- Each guest has to choose, either a starter, main and side dish, dessert or drink for next week
